After all, we have to fill up our own emotional and physical well so that we have resources to give to others.

It may sound trite, but it’s true that when we love our bodies, we love ourselves. Taking care of our bodies from the inside out is important if we want to have the stamina to care for others. Eating a nutritious diet and finding time for exercise is important, but appearances matter, too.
